It’s been a long time, since I left you, without a dope blog to step to!
Let’s Go!!
First things first, I poppa…. You know the rest.
It’s only right I come back with the hot item at the moment, NOTORIOUS!! *sings theme music and does puffy dance*.
Ill just give my 2 cents plus 2 more about the flick. Good and bad. Overall, I enjoyed the film. I’ve seen it twice in 2 days and I can’t wait for the DVD release to see all the special features and eh ruh. I’m sure most of you have seen it already but if not I suggest you read this blog some other day.
Also, the following link is an interview on allhiphop.com with Dream Hampton, hip hop historian, who was a great friend of Biggie.

-Jamal Woolard did an excellent job playing B.I.G. I was a bit skeptical, but he put it down. From the husky breathing, tied tongue, laugh and mannerisms Jamal was a G and ½. Congrats to him and I hope he is able to receive casting calls after this movie.

-Christopher Wallace Jr., who is the son of B.I.G. and Faith, played the young Biggie and was soooooo adorable!
-I hate the fact that Marc Jeffries, child actor, played an adult Lil Cease. He was Isaiah in “Losing Isaiah”. WTF??? Apart of me thought it was funny but another part of me kept thinking “this don’t make no sense!”.
-Angela Bassett needed to decide before production if she was gonna use the Jamaican accent throughout the entire movie or not. Sometimes she was sounding like Voletta Wallace, while other times I heard Stella or her character as Trey’s Mama in Boyz N Da Hood. Smh.

-I don’t know why Lil Kim is tripping but Naturi Naughton of 3LW fame put it down in a major way!!! The rumors suggest that Lil Kim was mad at the selection of Naturi due to her being a few hues darker than Kim. This is true, however everything else was on point! Her rendition of Kim’s verse on “Get Money” made me wish Kim had a show coming up!! Oh the memories. Maybe Lil Kim would be satisfied if Naturi had a few plastic surgery procedures before production began…. Smh
-Anthony Mackie. Umph. That man that man. *Thanks his parents for making him*. He could’ve worked on his 2-Pac voice and accent a littlllee better. His accent (couldn’t quite tell where it was from) was a distraction at some times.

-Myself and everyone else in the theatre COULD NOT stop laughing at Derek Luke’s impression Puff Daddy (Youngins, Puff Daddy is P.Diddy pre 1998). I’m sure he had a choreographer because his mannerisms and dancing mirrored Puff’s exactly!!! But did he really have that big ole coat on with the fur on the hood at work, INSIDE?? Take that take that…
-Ummm.. Ok… So why did Suge have a Hummer that came out circa 2007 in 1996?? And B.I.G. had the 2 Jesus pieces that became popular years after he died. They needed me as a consultant.
-The Suge character at the 1995 Source Awards had everybody dying laughing too!! “All up in the videos. All up on the record…..” LOL
-I was waiting for Jay-Z to show up. And Charlie Baltimore. She was in the car during the accident scene but nobody identified who she was in the movie and she had no speaking part.
-How many of you find yourselves bumping B.I.G, Junior Mafia, Craig Mack, Lil Kim, and Faith Evans all this weekend?
