coffee shop/crack shop, it's all the same?
Normally on this site we talk about things we like, hardly ever ish that we don't like. Well today folks, we got some ish that ain't good.
Now when Young Joc did "It's Goin Dooowwwn" it was the ish with the motorcycle bike dance and all. This new Young Joc looks um, different. Looks like he may be tryna bite, chew, swallow, and digest Kanye's style just a tad bit. From the haircut to the wardrobe. Below are a few annoyances we have with the vid, and just because you don't like something does not make you a hater. Are we supposed to like everything? I mean, seriously.
*Firstly, this video was made by another fellow from the A named T.I. but he called his single "Rubberband Man". Same concept. *shakes head* Don't believe? Take a look at this ish down here.
*So from Lil Wayne to Jay-Z to the "Snoman" himself,Young Jeezy (who's albums are damn near crack selling instructionals) many rappers use clever, witty, and unique rhymes about selling drugs. These rhymes usaually serve as metaphors for their rap styles or their past, or present for that matter. This is all to good, but it's not all to the good when artists deny what they are truly talking about.
* Classic examples include D'Angelo denying "Brown Sugar" was about smoking weed (hahaha review the lyrics peeps. Clever and classic, we miss ya D'Angelo! Come back!), Young Jeezy denying that the Snowman logo on his shirts (that every young male in anyhood, usa had) was a symbol for a dope dealer, and Young Joc denying this song and subsequent video are about moving that weight. Sure Young Joc, and that's why at the end you tell kids not to do drugs? I really don't care, but if coffee shop is about selling weight, speak on it, don't deny it. To be the ish, one must keep it real!
We still love ya Young Joc, "It's Goin Dooown"!
