Making The Band 4 comes "To The End Of The Road"

Diddy has made the band!! A good one finally, no disrespect to Da Band or Danity Kane but this band is that ish! The final group is Big Mike, Willie, Qwanell, Robert, and Brian A. Annnnndddd Donnie got a solo deal. Diddy finally focused more on singing than dancing, hence why Danity Kane are a vocal mess. My thoughts about the show.

*The talent on this show was so thick that I knew he would either make 2 groups or give someone or some people solo deals. Donnie is an average singer and barely average dancer. I'm not hating, but I think that he would fair better in a group and would be more likely to be successful in a group. I think he will experience initial success alone, but not the longeveity that he would in that bomb band made last night. I think some of the other guys with better vocal skills should have gotten a solo deal. Deangelo perhaps. Jeremy perhaps. Brian H. perhaps. DYSHON perhaps. Every damn body in the final 10 perhaps! But oh well, good luck Don Don!

*I looooovved how they remixed the song from the show! They slowed it up and they allll sounded sooo good. The slow version allowed us to hear the rifts and vo-Kals that had. And who knew that Donnie could play the piano? Go head now! Deangelo should have made the band just from his performance alone.

*Did anyone peep how none of the voting results were revealed?? interesting. I guess Diddy really is "psycho fa real".

*Diddy got Tom Cruise on us at the end. lol

*Thought it was kinda cold blooded how Dyshon got kicked off in the middle of the show. *shakes head*

*Can't wait for the next season when they show them making their album and selecting their name! HOLLA!

Kanye vs. Fiddy, "who ya wit??"

-photo officially jacked from ybf

So as you all probably know by now, 50 and Kanye West are both releasing their CDs on the same date, September 11. Only rappers, such as 50 Cent would beef about who is coming out on "their" day. If you think about it, that ish sounds crazy. I want some feedback from you all out there. What album are you gonna buy that day? Curtis? Louis Vuitton Don? Both? Something that came out months ago? what? All I gotta say is "HA HA, you can't tell me nuuthing. LLLaaaaaa llaaa....."

5 cents about rush hour 3

Rush Hour 3 was an alright movie. It had it's laughs here and there but it didn't quite compare to the first two. It's been a minute since seeing the first two, but I do remember constantly laughing. In this one, the funny didn't seem natural. Call me a hater but who cares.

*Did Chris Tucker grow since part 2? I've never seen him that tall and beefed up.

*Jackie Chan is getting kinda old but his stunts are still on point.

*I thought it would've been cool if they would've reminded us who Su Young was with a little bit of Mariah Carey's "Fantasy". (remember in part one she was the little girl in the car with Jackie Chan singing that song so annoyingly?) funny ish

*The Nas and Cee-lo song played at the very end was hot!

*I'm glad I was in Paris before they shot this movie. Could you imagine going overseas and not being able to go on the Eifel Tower?

*They said the Ambassador survived right? And we didn't see him after the shooting right? Just checking, thought I was trippin'.

*"War" huh! lol I love when they sing that ish!

*I hope Brett Ratner wraps it up after 3.

This is everything a live R & B performance should be. Great energy. Great backup singers (That's Angie Stone a.k.a. D'Angelo's Babymama on the far left ripping it up.Great lead singer. Great instrumentals. Just greatness, love the vibe of the setting and the performance. D'Angelo is one talented dude! We miss ya, come back soon! You are the ish!

Throwback-"Brokenhearted" by Brandy and Wanya

Awww, "Brokenhearted". What an awesome duet by the highly underrated Brandy and adlib guru, Wanya, of Boyz II Men! This song is a perfect recipe for tears on your pillow after a breakup or disagreement with that significant mofo opps I mean other. I guess this version would actually be considered "the remix" because on Brandy's self titled debut, the original version was a solo, had different music and slightly different vocal arrangements. That version is just as hot! Brandy is that type of artist who never fails to release quality CD after CD. All 4 of her discs are the ish. And Wanya, Wanya, Wan-ya! The dude is soulful! Making The Band 4 cuts were practically decided by him. He wasn't a judge on the show but alot of people got kicked off trying to sing his parts in "End Of The Road". I'd pay to see him anytime. Not now, but right now. Hope you all enjoy this throwback ish! :)

coffee shop/crack shop, it's all the same?

Normally on this site we talk about things we like, hardly ever ish that we don't like. Well today folks, we got some ish that ain't good.

Now when Young Joc did "It's Goin Dooowwwn" it was the ish with the motorcycle bike dance and all. This new Young Joc looks um, different. Looks like he may be tryna bite, chew, swallow, and digest Kanye's style just a tad bit. From the haircut to the wardrobe. Below are a few annoyances we have with the vid, and just because you don't like something does not make you a hater. Are we supposed to like everything? I mean, seriously.

*Firstly, this video was made by another fellow from the A named T.I. but he called his single "Rubberband Man". Same concept. *shakes head* Don't believe? Take a look at this ish down here.

*So from Lil Wayne to Jay-Z to the "Snoman" himself,Young Jeezy (who's albums are damn near crack selling instructionals) many rappers use clever, witty, and unique rhymes about selling drugs. These rhymes usaually serve as metaphors for their rap styles or their past, or present for that matter. This is all to good, but it's not all to the good when artists deny what they are truly talking about.

* Classic examples include D'Angelo denying "Brown Sugar" was about smoking weed (hahaha review the lyrics peeps. Clever and classic, we miss ya D'Angelo! Come back!), Young Jeezy denying that the Snowman logo on his shirts (that every young male in anyhood, usa had) was a symbol for a dope dealer, and Young Joc denying this song and subsequent video are about moving that weight. Sure Young Joc, and that's why at the end you tell kids not to do drugs? I really don't care, but if coffee shop is about selling weight, speak on it, don't deny it. To be the ish, one must keep it real!

We still love ya Young Joc, "It's Goin Dooown"!

I Think I Love My Wife

-photo used for this blog was officially jacked from amazon.com

I Think I Love My Wife is finally in stores now and ready for everyone reading this to purchase! We all know that Chris Rock is a hilarious individual, his standup comedy is always off the chain, and when he hosts award shows you know it's going down! However, on the flip side, his movies like Down To Earth and Head Of State have not quite lived up to the other funny ish we're accustomed to hearing from Chris Rock! Where his stand up comedy leaves off, I Think I Love My Wife picks up. When watching this film, it's as if you're watching the different jokes he tells on his HBO specials being acted out by actors. Chris Rock put it dooown in this movie! I hope you all appreciate it! It has a few good messages, if you can hear them over your laughs! Enjoy :)

New Jill Scott Ish!

-flick officially jacked from blackvoices website

http://myspace.com/whoisjillscott

Jill Scott is officially back! The sampler of her new CD "The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3 is available on her myspace page! The first song to be released from the disc is "Hate On Me" which is officially that ish! Should be an anthem for everyone. Nowadays so many people release albums so quickly, for instance, Rihanna has released 3 CDs in like 2 years. There's is nothing wrong with that, but it is something wrong when the disc has only 3 songs worth putting on repeat making you wish you burned the CD. With Jill Scott, she'll make the audience wait a a few years and release timeless classic after timeless classic, worth every penny! Doesn't good new music get ya excited? Check her out also on the latest edition of Essence Magazine. Enjoy that ish!

"Nobody Do It Better" by Keith Murray featuring Tyrese, and Junior

You gotta love this song! Got that nice summertime vibe! Keith Murray is one of the most underrated artists in the industry, I hope this song helps to give him the props he deserves. This song has a cool vibe to it! Kids can listen to it, you don't feel like you have to turn it down when Grandma walks in, and it's not a dance instructional like every other song on the radio (refer to "Cupid Step or shuffle whatever the hell" ugh!)It would be nice to hear more from that kid, Junior. He's the same guy tearing that hook up on Young Berg's "Sexy Lady". Enjoy this ish!
